JAGUAR-HSC Poll-How long for a contest?

I recently got some feedback that the contest times were too short. So how long do you think it should be?

 

The 2600 & 8-bit contests are about two weeks.

 

The 5200 & 7800 contests are about a month.

 

So what should the Jaguar contest time be do you think?

I think 2 weeks are good

I would say, one month if you want to have 2 games at one time.

 

2 weeks if there's only one game.

Good question. I think it would be better to close them for the global contest.

They are for maximum points. When a contest is going, you can get 8 points for first, 6 points for 2nd, 4 for third, 2 for fourth, and everything after has one point. Once the contest is over, getting anything over 1 point is not possible.

 

I do leave them open (kinda like a Jaguar Arcade game in the corner) for people to get a point if:

1) they have not played it yet (participation point)

2) if they beat the existing high score, which on a lot of our games, I'm happy to say, get's extremely high.
