doctorclu
Ok, so here at the Jaguar High Score Club arcade, we all talked, and here are the rules of how this place works: 1) Gaming contests last for an entire month. ...a) You have the chance of getting 8 points for 1st place, 6 points for 2nd, 4 points for third, 2 points for fourth ...b) Every point after that is one point. ...c) Contests end the last day of the month at 11:59:59 pm. 2) Once a gaming contest is over, the Jaguar game is still playable like a arcade game off to the side. ...a) You can get one point if you have not played this game in the contests yet (Participation point) ...b) You beat the existing high score (of someone else) you get a point. 3) Other Arcade games will be set up for fun contests: ...a) Tempest 2000: King of the Vortex .......1) From this point on the person who beats the high score gets a point. .......2) First time players get a point .......3) There is a first prize of 8 points to the highest scored player at the end of the year. ...b) Bubsy: Balls of Furry contest .......1) Anyone who partipates gets a point .......2) Anyone who can beat an existing ball score gets a point. 4) Substitution game ...a) If you don't have the game of the month, another game of like genre can be substituted. ......1) Only one point can be earned from this (Participation point) ......2) If the game you choose is in a contest later, you will have to play the game again for current contest point. 5) The main goals of the Jaguar High Score Club Arcade ...a) To be a Jaguar arcade, ran by the suggestion & feedback of Jaguar fans. ...b) To encourage gameplay of Jaguar titles that a Jaguar fan might not have dusted off in months/years. ...c) To encourage participation .....1) By making contests chosen by vote. .....2) By making older games still available for play. .....3) By making alternate choices possible. (Since collections are limited and no rom loading hardware cheaply exists.) As the guy who makes sure the electric outlets work for the Jaguar arcade machines, and to make sure the soda is mopped off the floor every now and then... ...THANK YOU for stopping in! I look forward to playing with you in the Jaguar games. Edited November 19, 2009 by kevincal
