+Cafeman
my mother is getting re-married in early October, but if it isn't that weekend, I am going to try to attend the CinciClassic this year. I love the Philly Classic and I live fairly close to both!
Phosphor Dot Fossils
Hey Matt, Maybe it's just me, but I can't get your site to load.
Room 34
As I complained about before, I will actually be in Cincinnati the weekend before this!!! I have never been to Cinci in my life, and to just miss the mark like this is really frustrating! Oh well, any of you in the area are encouraged to come out and see my band play there, if you can get into the venues for the MidPoint Music Festival, Sept. 26-28. (Not sure if you have to buy a pass in advance or if they're open to the public.) I'll post more details when I find out exactly when and where we're playing. holygrailvideogames.com
Is this event worth a drive from St. Louis? I would consider going to the show if it is a really great show. Will there be any exclusive titles at the show?
MattG/Snyper2099
@ Earl Green. That page is updated whenever we have new info to post so, you may have tried to access it during the brief time it was being updated. I checked the page today and everything seemed to load ok to me. @mcgrail, There SHOULD be an event exclusive game but none has been anounced yet. Last year we had advanced proto copies of an Atari Lynx game called Cybervirus. It is a good little game. Like I said, we'll post any exclusive game info the second we get it on the website. kudos, MattG.
IceCold
I live in northeast ohio, so there's a good chance I can go. I think cinci is like a 4 or 5 hour drive from here. So what should I expect to be there? Who's gonna be there? What should I bring? I think it sounds really cool.
munkyxtc
I'm going to do everything in my power to make it to cinciclassic this year, it's a little drive, but I'm sure that it will be worth any amount of time sitting in the car...anyways, hope to see ya'll there
Big Player
I'll be there as well. I can't wait for it. So who's going to pass out the Atari Age badges?
IceCold
Are Albert or Alex going? It's sounds like a really great experience, and I live kinda close to cincinnati, so I'll probably get to go. Should I bring anything? What should I expect to be there?
pitfallaimee
I will DEFINITELY be at Cinci, and if all goes well, with a booth!!! Weeeeee! I resent being called a booth, Stan!

StanJr
HOLY POOP! A pitfallaimee appearance might just be the end of me. I'm already smitten enough as it is. pitfallaimee live and in person might just kill me. Now I'm DEFINITELY there!!!!!!!!!

tiggerthehun
I will do my gosh darnest to be there too!!! If I have a stack of papers to grade that weekend, anyone wanna help? It's REAL easy - I'll even provide you with your own "sacred red pen"... Just write "Clarify" "Wordy" and "Nice" randomly throughout the paper, and we'll be just fine. At the end, consult the dead via a Ouija board for a final grade to give em. Oh wait, that's how most other teachers do it... Not me... Alright, I'll make sure I don't assign any homework before the con. It'd be awesome to see a couple of you guys and gals in person!

MattG/Snyper2099
If you are at all into the vectrex make sure you come to Cincy for sure! Rob Mitchel, who is a regular attendee, will be there with such items as, reproduction light pens, the vec voice, and adaptors so you can use atari 2600 controllers on the vectex! Also, Tim Snider of Hozer will be on hand with plenty of homebrew 2600 games, including the ones from CGE this year! Don't miss out! See you there soon, MattG. Snider-man
That should be "Tim Snider representing Hozer," but otherwise, yeah. I'm just the hired hand on this h'yere ranch.
Rob Mitchell
Hi Matt: I look forward to getting together with you and the gang at Cinciclassic! I would not miss it! I have driven up FROM ATLANTA for each of the Cinciclassics (1998, 2000, 2001). It is worth it! Shall we do our meet and eat at Ruby Tuesdays on Friday night? Beer and video games! MattG/Snyper2099
Rob, Yes, there's going to be plenty of people there Friday night since we have a bunch of arcades to bring! I figured after we get everything laid out, people will want to get something to eat. I can't wait, less than a month to go! MattG.
Snider-man
I'll be there Friday night, as I need plenty of time to set up the Hozer booth. Gonna be huge, gentlemen. So, if there's extra luggin', shippin', or drinkin' to be done that night, let me know!
