Amazon: Eye of Judgment Sale

Just a FYI, Amazon has Eye of Judgment on sale for $43.00 I don't have a PS3, but this is one title that intrigued me. It's in their game deals section...

This game kicks ass. I've had major troubles getting the game to work right though. Often times in the middle of the game the camera stops reading the cards I've tried adding light, moving the light source etc... It's sad. I've heard other people say they haven't had the issues I have so maybe it's the room I'm in or something. It's really an awesome game though when it works for me, that's a great price for sure.

Has anyone seen the new Series 2 cards and decks available yet? I thought I had read that they were now available but I haven't seen any in the usual places I've looked.

I just found out that the reason I haven't seen Series II Biolith Rebellion cards is because they aren't being released until April 28th. The update for the game is available on the PS Store now, though.

It is strange... I've read posts on the official EoJ forum at Sony with complaints similiar to yours. I've also read posts from people who have had no problems at all. For myself, I had some errors/trouble when I first got and set the game up, but have had no further problems in several hundred hours of gameplay I've played since.

 

Can't really help you.. don't know if its camera settings, lighting, table surface you're playing on, or a combination of all. I know mine works fine and I enjoy the game.

 

I will admit that I get my butt handed to me ALOT when playing online as there are quite a few players on there who are totally and completely into the game. These players own every card (and have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars to aquire them) and spend every free moment they have developing their deck and strategy. I don't have the time, energy, resources, or inclination to go that road so I lose alot. But I still enjoy the game.

I wonder what they had in the case at Gamestop then? They were booster packs but definately weren't the standard ones I have bought in the past which had a black background. I'll be honest though, I just mentioned it to my GF in passing when we saw them as being the new cards, but didn't actually read the packs.

Just FYI.

 

I was in Target last week and they had the Eye of Judgement packs on Clearance for $34.99

That includes the camera and the game as well as starter decks, a camera holder and a cloth playfield.

Not sure if they are on Clearance everywhere or not.

Figured I'd mention it since it's a kick ass game.
