Shawn
Hey, I suck at making 8k dissasemblies as I don't know how to make proper CFG's nor wipe the bad code when putting 4k chucks back together Sooooo... Anyone got an ASM of the CBK 2600 proto they want to share? Shawn
Nukey Shay
Proper .cfg files are made by looking at a "dumb" mode disassembly and rooting out gibberish code (usually indicating data or GFX), then disassembling again to check if anything was missing or mismarked. Dunno what you mean by "wipe bad code" tho. A proper disassembly contains everything present in the original binary (even mistakes the programmer made). However, CBK sets the ORG to $F000 for both banks tho...which could confuse Dasm once both halves are pasted back together. Perhaps that is what you mean? In such case, it's easy enough to do an automatic search/replace of all occurances of the text "LF" to something else in one of the halves. Dasm does not care if both halves are ORG'ed to the same 4k address block...so long as none of the label names cause conflicts. Here's a couple hour WIP. Most of the vectors are still unlabelled.
