Ok, sorry for the delay. This rounds game is Defender. Defender is a pretty common game and I think plays well with the stock controllers.

The competition will end on 6-08. Adding a few extra days since I delayed this by a few days.

Get blasting and for god sakes, save the humans, don't shoot them.

Darth - how long did your game last?

I'm not sure really. I seldom pay attention to the the flow of time other than to notice the fact that the days seem to fly by faster and faster the older you get.

Seriously though, it didn't seem like a really long time though. An hour, hour and a half........I just don't know for certain. Sorry. If I try again I'll try to remember to keep track.

2,131,000 Wave 134

Well, I decided to go at it again and kept track of the time. I obviously was way off on my estimate for the last one because this game took an hour and a half. And it seemed like forever. Truthfully I could've gone on ad infinitum but I was getting both seriously bored and my left hand was going numb. I did discover a couple interesting things during the journey though. On waves 86, 87 and 88 there were no landers present, just bombers and pods. The only green enemy to appear was the occasional baiter. Secondly, the wave tally does not go past 99 so I had to keep track manually. I think I keep a correct tab. If not I'm only one or so off I'd say.

I was beginning to wonder if perhaps a glitch had occurred on account of the number of ships remaining throughout the duration never went down. I did run out of nuke's just before hitting the first million mark. So I figured I'd make things more interesting. First I stopped using smart bombs after passing 2 mil. Even then I wasn't dieing enough so I decided to become homicidal and kill off all of the humans. This is where I discovered another interesting oddity. After each board the humans were replaced instead of the every five as usual. I assume it's because of the wave tally being stuck at 99 so the computer thinks it's going onto a "5th" board every time. So after doing the mutant board thing a few rounds I finally ran out of ships.

Well, I doubt I'll be feeling like playing Defender any time soon. :P
