Check them out for yourself. I also like the way the seller added to his description each day with more marketing hype trying to increase the bidding frenzy. MattyXB
I hate it, when someone stole pictures. If you have no scanner, then he can write it, that he use them from a website. But so its not OK for me.
Lemmi
well waterworld in the auction is the same, i see the 12.99 pen mark on it in both AA and his auction pics Dirty scummbag
MrRetroGamer
The seller has not yet responded to my emails about his use of the photos, and I doubt he will.

Albert
Yeah, it's not too cool when sellers use images from AtariAge to peddle their warez on eBay, especially without asking permission. It's even worse when in cases like this the seller doesn't state that the item pictured isn't what the winning bidder will be receiving. Thanks for the heads up. ..Al
munkyxtc
im sorry to tell you funny man but mine is a downloadable wallpaper, i just added the blue to stick out in my posts WEll, do n't I feel even dumber now Albert, you should incorportate some sort of watermark into the pictures, (so you don't have to put ATARI AGE real big on them to protect this from happening again)...just a thought. This comes up from time to time and we feel it's just better to deal with it on an individual basis than muck up all the images on the site with watermarks. Generally it hasn't been a big problem; if it was then we might have gone down that road already. ..Al
MrRetroGamer
The problem is that we never know the intentions of the seller. Are they sincere , are they innocent , are they devious , are they Xevious (sorry, couldn't resist! ) They "borrow" the pics from here and have no idea that we collectors can actually TELL that the image in their auction came from here. Amazing! And here we are talking about them, and yet they have no clue. Or do they? Anyway, the seller did email back a short reply. Here is the full text: This is nopt the actual picture. But the real thing looks much better then the pic does. So his items are actually better looking than the AtariAge display scans he hijacked from this site! Um, right. mark
COULD ATARI AGE PUT THEIR NAME ON THE PICTURES SO THEY CAN'T BE COPPIED?
Alex
Yes, we could do that but we're not going to let a few bad people ruin it for everyone else. I know I don't like it when I go to other sites and they have their names all over their pictures - I understand why they do it, but we will avoid it if possible. Atari_Never_Dies
i thought that those pics looked a little farmiliar, (and mint) luckly, i didnt, but i almost bid on it i didnt even notice that it wasnt his own pick, but i was a little scepticle about the pic, at the time i saw it, i saved the pic, it was really mint
AtariDude
I wonder why anyone would buy from someone who has such few number of responses. I didn't start selling things on Ebay until I had at least 20 responses for things that I bought. I could understand if you were paying $1 or $2 on items since you wouldn't lose very much but once you start buying things that are more than $20, I would think that you would stay away from people with such a small number of feedbacks. I know what you mean, I feel the same, but then I think, well I too had very few responses at one time and people still bought stuff from me and I am honest, so I just hope that they are too.... if its something you really want and they have few responses maybe its worth a risk? Maybe he/she is just a normal dude/dudette just starting out, thats what I hope! I dunno. Having said that I really like to stay away from sellers with too few responses and on the other end power sellers. Somewhere in between is good..... that's just me! Inky
Still though, isn't against the Ebay TOS to use pics that are stolen from another site?
