Mendon Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 Just curious as to what game/s that are available on the PS Store for downloading are your favorites? For myself, it used to be a tie between Everyday Shooter and Super Stardust HD as I used to play both constantly. But for the last three weeks, Pixel Junk Monsters has been getting 100% of my attention and I can't stop playing the game. I'm totally addicted to its gameplay and trying to beat my previous best score. PJM has to be one of the best, if not THE best, downloadable games for any of the systems. moycon Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 I've played Everyday Shooter the most of the games I have. Pain is pretty good but I haven't played it for maybe an hour or two. It is nothing like the original but the level design is really clever and it kinda works as a game in it's own right. Anyway, we get a real psp sequel this year - yay! I got Calling All Cars on release day and it *was* a blast to play. But.... and this is my opinion.... two things hinder the game: 1) the single player isn't that good as the game cheats like heck. If AI car's have the convict, the others will converge and simply try to steal... nothing more. But if you have the convict, not only will they converge and attempt to steal but you will find missiles and every other type of weapon being used on you continually by all the AI car's. Can become frustrating with the AI not being as aggressive against itself as it is against you. 2) online is great but unfortunately hardly anyone plays the game online anymore. I think the game was created for online play and it excells at that. But with the online pretty much dead, Calling All Car's gets very little play at my house anymore unless friends come over. Has a new Platinum level with new modes for Spank the Monkey, Fun with Explosives, and other improvements. I'm still waiting on the promised new area, Amusement Park, they announced about 3 months ago or so.
