moycon
Heads up. Amazon has a Gold box deal going on right now MotorStorm for $19.99. I went ahead and snagged this since I heard it was a great game but never got around to picking up a copy. These wont last, they are about 60% sold out. Be sure and add another $5.01 to your cart so you get free shipping.
Mendon
Motorstorm is a fun game. I really enjoy it and am looking forward to Pacific Rim. On a side note.... I"ve never been able to understand the way Amazon does business. Usually, a store, like Best Buy or Target, will run a sale and its a "timed sale"... in other words the sale lasts one day or a weekend or a week. And if the store runs out of stock, they will issue a Rain Check. But it seems Amazon runs a one day sale, but ONLY for a limited number of copies... in other words, they have 300 copies of Motorstorm in stock but will only put 100 copies on sale. When the 100 are sold, sale over. And the price on the remaining 200 copies immediately goes back up to original price. I can't imagine the chaos there would be if Target ran a sale on Motorstorm at 50% off, you ran there and found copies in stock, but they charged you full price because the sale was only good on the first 50 copies sold. I saw yesterday that Motorstorm must have been on sale at some point because it was in the #1 position on the Best Sellers list at $1.00 less than the usual price. So Amazon still had copies of the game in stock but the Gold Box sale must have been only on a limited number of copies. Strange way of doing business. moycon
Yes , Everyday they have items that are on sale in your gold box. Usually there will be a few (up to 9) things on sale just for you and it's usually things based on past purchases or things on your wish list. You have the option of getting a little better deal on those items, and it last the whole day, but you can choose only one item. After you purchase it all the other deals cant be bought. In addition they have a deal that last the whole day, and one that only lasts a few hours, and like you said it's for a set number of items. Once bought up, the deals end. Thats why when I see them, I try and post them here in case anyone want to jump on the deal before it goes away.
