Atari5200
We may be having a special round coming up, so I'm going to hold off for a little bit on starting a new 5200 HSC Round. 5200 vs Colecovision HSC's.
+Cafeman
Any interest in a future "Koffi: Yellow Kopter' HSC? The ROM has been freely available since 2003. Perhaps set ground rules such as you must play on Normal or Hard difficulty? There's no way to prove what difficulty you got your high score on so it'd be the honor system. Atari5200
you must have been reading my mind, Koffi was going to be the next game, since I'm doing a homebrew for the 7800, but I was pm'd about a possible competition between 5200 and Colecovision, so I am going to wait a little bit to see what happens with that, but either way, the next 5200 specific game will be Koffi. +Cafeman
Another homebrew that might be able to be used for a contest is 5200 Adventure II. There's no score, so maybe the contest would be to play the last level (22) and who can get the highest ranking using any alternate icon with the 'fat creatures' code enabled. I could provide more info if its needed. Just another thought -- since you guys are quickly exhausting all the 5200 games on which to have HSC's. +Cafeman
(Wow, fast reply by Atari5200!) I didn't know you were also a homebrewer. Cool! Are you revealing what the title of your 7800 game would be?
doctorclu
A good cross platformer would be Pitfall, though a 7800 or Hynx specific version is not available.

The problem with that is not everyone will have that game, including myself. As far as I know only the demo ROM is available.
Atari5200
I myself am not a homebrewer, I chose a homebrew game for this months 7800 HSC and was going to do the same with the 5200 with Koffi, until I was asked about a dueling HSC. My choice of words was not good in the post, sorry for misleading post.
Atari5200
Ok, there will not be a new round until the next one vs. the Colecovision crew, their current round ends on 10-08. So we'll rest up for the time being.
BydoEmpire
Sounds good to me - I haven't been able to partake lately (too busy w/ other things), but hopefully I'll get back on track for the special round.
