StanJr Posted September 14, 2002 Share Posted September 14, 2002 I'll say this: Going to Philly and getting Bob Polaro's autograph of Bugs Bunny because you really like the game or because you think Bob is a cool cat (which he IS, a mega cool cat at that!) is one thing (and its a cool thing), but to do it simply so you can turn a profit is just wrong. Its bad business. Makes you come across as very greedy and insincere, in my eyes. Its like that store in the mall, Field of Dreams, they only sell autographed stuff. I could care less about autographs myself (meeting Bob Polaro and getting my butt kicked by at his own game was the REAL thrill), but I would think part of the fun of having something autographed would be actually BEING THERE when the person signs the object.
