Err... Why no STacy? I'd think that would be the #1 on your list!

BTW - The Okimate is a nice touch. Does the Okimate 20 work on the Atari? If so, that'd be even better becuse it's be matching white.

My list:

1. Atari 800

Amdek Color I Monitor

Dual 810 drives

2. Amiga 1000

Byte-by-Byte Pal Jr. zorro 1 backplane +prototype CBM MFM controller, RAM card, 20 Megabyte fixed drive

1080 monitor

Boing mouse

3. Northstar Horizon

4. Atari 1200XL

Well... I have a bunch but my current setup is:

800XL w/APE 32n1 OS, MegaHZ 512K RAM, MIO, St251 HD, Happy 1050, USD 1050, Indus GT, 3.5" XF551, Amdek Color 1 Plus monitor, 850 interface - hooked via SIO2PC cable to my Apebox which is a P4 PC.

I also have 2 stock 1050's, another Happy 1050 & USD 1050 hooked to my big PC via a ProSys cable.

My reason for looking for some type of SIO hub is to be able to swap some of these around easily.

I have a load of machines in storage but AFAIK they're all stock. I have 3 out for daily use:

My main system:

800 XL with 256Kb

Steve's 32in1 OS

1050 with US Doubler

SIO2USB

Sparta DOS X Cart

Registered APE + Steve's SIO2PC

Home made SVideo cable + partly done video upgrade

"Games" System

Stock 130XE

XF551

XC11

And of course my 1200XL is sitting here on my desk along with a fried 800XL which is waiting for new DRAMs to arrive. The fried XL is going to be my test machine for a few upgrades, starting with a RAM upgrade and then probably dual pokey plus some kind of internal storage (possibly SDrive). I also have another XF551 with a bad mech which I plan to upgrade to a 3.5' mech when I get time.

From memory (which aint great):

Atari 800 (48K)

Atari 800XL

Atari 65XE

Atari 800XL (with dual Pokey + 256K)

Atari 800XL (256K + 4-in-1 OS + Cupid Parallel Printer interface)

Atari 1050 (have 2 but one is kaput)

Atari 1029

Atari 1010

Mono composite monitor

Panasonic Dot Matrix (in the attic)

Steve's SIO2PC/APE

Sinclair Spectrum 48K

Sinclair Spectrum 16K (Issue one motherboard)

Atari 520STE with 4Meg RAM x 2

Atari 520STE with 4Meg RAM and an unknown upgrade by ICD

And how is it some people have several XF551 drives? Don't think I've ever seen one in the wild around here. :(

I have downsized my collection a lot this year for one reason or another, and I would love to replace an 800 and 1200XL as soon as possible.

My current daily driver is a PAL 800XL with 32-in-1, s-video,sio2pc,Happy 1050 and soon to be added a 512k RAM upgrade.

Second most used is my PAL 600XL with internal 64K, soon to be upgraded with MegaHz 512K RAM and s-video upgrade. I would also like to add a 4-in-1 OS if anyone knows how to do it, or where to buy one that would be great.

I also have a standard 800XL with the Freddy chip, I have connected up the chroma to give s-video but would love to know how to do the rest of a video upgrade on this board.

I also use my NTSC 7800 with s-video upgrade and Cuttle Cart II a lot

Current projects other than those listed above are, Atari 400 48k upgrade and s-video, PAL 7800 composite video mod, Sears Heavy sixer s-video mod. Sears Video Arcade II- s-video upgrade.

In the sidelines are 3 dead 800XLs, 3 dead 1050s, a dead XEGS and a 520STE waiting for a 4meg RAM upgrade, a PAL heavy sixer with no colour output etc, etc, etc

Do you have anything interesting in your IIgs? There are a number of cool stuff available for the IIgs. I'm waiting for someone to make a board to use a PC monitor on one. I have a focus drive but was having trouble with it before it went into storage. Hopefully soon I can get it going again.

Nothing too special about my IIgs'. Last time I hooked up one of my IIgs' the monitor caught fire. Good thing I had a few. :)

A VGA card for Apple II/IIgs woul be pretty nice, though. Wouldn't have to drag out a monitor when I wanted to use it. Just connect it to the one on my workbench.

I have so many computers in my collection (60-70) to tinker around with, that I haven't really done too much with the IIgs. I do love the IIgs keyboards... probably my favorite keyboard for any computer. I like the thin frame and the overall feel. I even bought an ADB to USB converter, so I can continue to use the keyboard on newer computers. The only thing that could make it better is to lose the number pad so it is even smaller. :)

Well,

here are my two A8 setups:

- Atari 800XL with 576k RAM (originally with a Megaram II and 256k XRAM, but upgraded to 512k XRAM),

switchable between XL-OS and 800-OS, S-Video (connected to a standard tv)

1050 drive with Mini-Speedy and standard 1010 tape-recorder

planned: adding stereo + covox, turning the 1010 into a SDrive or SIO2SD...

- another Atari 800XL with 576k RAM (by mega-hz, but without battery!), XL-OS and S-Video,

another 1050 drive with Mini Speedy (computer and floppy connected via SIO2PC to an old DOS PC)

and another standard 1010 tape-recorder

planned: adding another OS (probably 800-OS), adding stereo+covox,

turning the 1010 into a SDrive or SIO2SD...

Besides these two setups I have some lose items (unused at the moment) that are waiting to be used:

2x SIO2USB, 1x MyIDE, 1x CF-Card connector/CF-upgrade, lots of rarely used controllers, like ST-mouse, Atari paddles, network-link-cable, Track & Field controller, lightpen, lightgun, etc. etc. (I once had 4 XF drives all of them converted into 3,5" drives, a HDI interface by E. Puetz, a msc-IDE interface and lots of other stuff, but I sold them all)... -Andreas Koch.
