PS3 Compatability Question

Hi all,

 

I have not been around here in quite sometime, sorry but sometimes life changes.

 

Anyhow I've been thinking about buying a blu-ray player, and many reviews that I have seen memtion buying a PS3 instead of the stand alone blu-ray player.

My question is does the PS3 olay PS2 and/or PS1 games?

 

And does anyone know if all the PS3's are profile 2.0 compliant, or do I need to find a certain one.

No currently sold PS3's still have backwards compatibility with the PS2. All PS3's can play PS1 games however.

 

All PS3's are profile 2.0 compliant.
