HammR25
I just picked up Battlefield Bad Company at Gamestop for $20. What's really funny is they still had the used copies priced at $27. When I went to check out the clerk was shocked to see it at that price so he checked the computer to make sure it wasn't mismarked. I laughed and told him it was priced less than the used copies. It came back in the computer as the correct price. Their 360 copies were still $60 though.
Reaperman
I went for this $20 game myself. Got throught the first string of single player missions and I kind of like it. buildings deform, health is on demand, good map checkpoint system. That makes it really fun for me. with most FPS games, I have a lot of trouble with getting lost, dying and looking for keys/doors. none of which are a problem with bad company. I even like the characters. They've got personality, and I feel like I know them--which is more than I can say for a lot of fps titles. Hell, in some fps games the single player character doesn't even get a name.
HammR25
I've enjoyed the single player missions for the same reasons you've enjoyed the game. I've also got COD World at War but this game gets a lot more play time. COD: WaW is way too linear for my tastes.
Reaperman
I've got to say, I'm really growing to love this game. Especially the online. sure it's a pointless 'headshot' game, but it's got a nice feel. Games are neither too short or too long. cover is very important. things blow up. and possibly most importantly, the game and its players don't take anything overly seriously. according to my stats, I've actually spent over 18 hours playing that game online. It's really been hogging my game time. Sometimes it's nice to just be able to switch my brain off, and gun down some people for a while. HammR25
I got COD:World at War when it first came out in November. Looks like I picked up this game on January 3rd. I finished this game Tuesday night. I still haven't finished COD although I think I'm close to the end of it.
