feo
Hey guys, you have to go look at this before it gets removed. Some guy at eBay decided to link to somebody else's pictures to do his sale. The guys running the other server found out and switched images on him. Very funny, check it out. The thing about eBay (I think) is that it does not let you change the product description once you post, so he could not change it. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...item=2052699485 I know AtariAge has the same problem, not that I am trying to give you guys any ideas... CPUWIZ
Sure but only because this one definately takes the cake. Here ya go ... PART 1: Sorry for the disturbing changes in my auctions picture, I tapped into a new area of HTML programming and didn't realize that I would be hogging someone elses bandwidth by linking to the pictures. DOH ! Won't happen again. Sorry once again, I will buy my own camera. PART2: Even though I apologized for my newbie error, the owner of the pictures is not co-operating. Please ignore the top 2 pictures. The picture on the bottom will stay as it is. Any 'pro' that bids on this can figure out how processors and the rest looks like. These are not uncommon items and they are well described. I am happy to answer any questions via email. The memory is from Kingston. Please look at my feedback to check my credibility. Phew, my German is getting rusty.

KAZ
Intensely funny. Did you catch this part tho (it was a mispelling on the part of 2cpu.com): "Here you can see the actual motherboard you are bidding on being CARFULLY packed and readied for shipment." They spelled "CARFULLY" incorrectly. It is almost ironic because it is a car that is running over the motherboard. Perhaps the mispelling was on purpose. It is all funny anyway, but the mispelling was interesting to see.

Philflound
He may have intentionally put CARFULLY as his wording. Though if you are going to steal a picture, the least you could do is save it on your own computer and then upload it so it's not linked and can't be changed by the original owner. Since Ebay offers the free picture, you don't need a website to store the picture, though you will not get the full size since they shrink it down. I had to actually steal a picture from one of the auctions I did for my friend because I either did not take a picture of that particular item, or the camera didn't take a picture of that item when I pressed the button. Though this was a common Johnny Lightning die-cast car and I actually shrunk the outside around the item so all you saw was the item and couldn't tell that it was stolen. It was either that or the item wouldn't have been put on auction for 2 weeks since I was going on (and still am on) vacation. So I don't find it unethical to take a picture of an item if either... 1. you have no means of photographing the item 2. your item is a general one that looks extremely similar to the one shown in the photo. If you put a nice scan of a cartridge and your labels are ripped or written on, then you are falsely advertising something. I would give credit though if the picture came from someone's website. If I take a photo, it's either from another auction that mine would look just like that one or from the company's website that produced the product. To me, if you are selling a product from a company, you should have the right to use their pictures to represent their product. Just my opinion.
