bdog_147
I am wondering which of these two are worth buying. I've heard Cooking Mama is good but haven't heard anyone mention Hell's Kitchen. Has anyone here played Hell's Kitchen and is it any good? Thank you.
BydoEmpire
I haven't played either Cooking Mama 2 or Hell's Kitchen, but I can tell you that Order Up is an excellent game. Being a TV-licensed game, Hell's Kitchen is very likely to be shovelware that hopes to succeed solely on the license. Seriously, give Order Up a shot. The physical gameplay is "cooking", but there's so much more to the game that makes it a complete package. You get tips depending on how well you make the dishes, and you use those to buy recipes, ingredients, better cooking appliances, and assistants. There are a bunch of interesting characters that come to your restaurants to order food, each with particular tastes, which adds a little extra challenge. The presentation is very good as well. bdog_147
Okay thanks. I'll skip both of them and get order up.
pinball22
Hell's Kitchen has got to be the only time in history a cooking game has gotten a T rating. (They probably had to tone Gordon's mouth down a little to get that.)
phaxda
I gotta say, I've worked as a chef and these games don't sound like any fun at all! They sound like WORK!
Chickybaby
I got the hell's kitchen game for the PC as a gift from someone. I love cooking, collect recipies, and have seen the show but I don't get what is supposed to be fun about it? Game play was nothing fancy and his voice repeating the same thing over and over with a picture of his face was irritating. If you want a game like that then 'Diner Dash' on Yahoo, while graphically poo since it's a cartoon, had the same principlebut with more choices. Maybe if HK was $5 I'd say to go for it, and that's a big maybe imo? No idea what the Cooking Mama game is like.
