Interesting news.

Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection

http://kotaku.com/5145898/ps3-xbox-360-get...all-this-summer

No word yet if additional boards will be available. I'm happy with the Wii version but if the graphics are crisper and in 1080P AND with Trophy support.....I may have to pick this one up.

:)

In case anyone missed this game. It includes a lot of the old Pinball games like Black Knight.

Cool stuff.

Indeed! I actually think the PS3 version will be better. While the Wii version controls are Ok. I always preferred the generic 360 pinball game better play wise (Not table wise) because using the front triggers is even more natural. Add the sixaxis control to shake the table and you have an even better experience with licensed games!! I do hope they include some bonus tables.

Yeah I know what you mean. By the way....the Xbox 360 has a really good if not the best Pinball game I've probably ever played, Pinball FX. Some boards are better than others but the physics and graphics are great.

Yep that is the one I ment. Imagine that game but with licensed tables and the ability to tilt.

I really, really, REALLY, hope that they include Black Knight 2000.

I would play that table nonstop. I LOVE that game.

It would be really cool if they added some more modern tables too. Attack from Mars would be amazing, as well as medieval madness.

But, even if its the same 10 tables as the Wii version, I would still buy it, for the simple fact of the leaderboards. I rolled FunHouse on the digits that it gives you, 1 billion, on the PS2 version.

I can't wait for this to come out.

I have it for the PS2, but I can't wait to get it for the Xbox 360. My sister has a PS3, so maybe she'll eventually buy it for her house. I bet it will look so good that it won't just make you cry tears of joy, your tears of joy will cry tears of joy.

I'll probably have to wait until it reaches 19 bucks before I can get it. I hope it won't take until 2011 before the used price gets that low.

I got the game as well.

This is a game that benefits very little from the Wii-mote controls but gains a bunch from HD presentation. The kicked ass on the Wii and kicks at least twice as much ass on an HD system. I personally got the 360 version. The triggers are an almost perfect replacement for the actual table.

Solid. Symmetrical. SoYouOweItToYourselfToGetThisGameIfYouLovePinball.

I wonder why they don't have a demo? How about 5 minutes on one table, just so we can get a look at it?

If it is like the PSP version, you can view the Table Rules and it will allow you to look at pretty much everything on the table while telling you where to hit the ball... what activates what... and everything. I love that feature... I remember sitting over pinball table and reading the little notes and cards to give you a general idea of instructions.

I still suck at pinball games... but it is fun to me!

I'm talking about a downloadable demo to try for free so people can get a taste of the game before they can afford to buy it.

Roger Wilco... now I understand.

:)

I agree... they should have a demo for you to try. I wish that was standard practice. However, how many copies would Turning Point have sold if there was a demo prior to its hyped release?

All 5 copies that DID sell would not have been sold.

That game was crap and I really was looking forward to it.

from what i understand it costs money to produce a demo, it's not as easy as chopping the game and sticking it up there. i think a budget publisher of a budget title wouldn't think its worth the $ to post a demo.

i'd recommend checking gametrailers or youtube for gameplay vids that'll give you at least some idea of how it looks. i spent some time with it and its capital g Gorgeous. its so sharp you expect to see your reflection in the glass. the sounds and physics are absolutely dead on. it's one of the best titles i've seen at perfectly replicating the arcade experience. if you've played a pinball machine, you already know how this plays. seriously.

my favorite tables are arabian nights and medieval.
