PS3:

Hatsume Miku Project Diva F (yes, still. :P Keeping the skillz up as I try to finish getting perfects on Hard mode while waiting for 2nd to hit NA in 3rd quarter sometime. (So summer I'm presuming. ^^)

Dragon's Dogma: Got as a freebie for PSN+ but only started checking it out today. I'll be playing a bit more later tonight, but still only about lv10. Playing as a wizard.

Splunky: (Splunkey?) Either way, fun little game. A shame I suck at it.

PSP: (No vita yet. Still waiting for a price drop on memory. :P)

Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Random play sessions here and there.

Hexy Force: Haven't quite started this yet, but I'll be transferring it to my PSP soon to start it up.

Yes! My favorite RPG that has almost taken the top spot (over Skyrim) this modern era. Actually it may have. :P

Stick to it it's pretty hard at first but when you reach Gran Soren things open up quite a bit.

I PM'd you on PSN so feel free to use my pawn "Crimson" currently a mage I think. The game might suddenly become a little easy though since she's very high level.

She's inclined to heal you rather than fight so you should still feel challenged. I can also change her vocation to Fighter or Ranger or anything else if you need it. She's maxed out in every vocation and is at level 135 atm.

Any questions let me know, I've beaten this game more than I ever wanted to.

Yeah, saw your message when it arrived but forgot about it by the time I logged out of the game. :)

Going to try to hack away at it myself for now to see how far I can get, but I'll let you know if I need her help. Trying to take it slow and do quests and the like so I should end up powering up sufficiently... I hope.

Just a few suggestions:

- Take every notice board quest regardless. (Except for escort quests)

- First & second playthrough bring some pawns to carry stuff. Pick up everything you can. Almost everything is used to upgrade weapons and armor.

- Don't do Bitterblack Isle until after you beat the game at least once. I would recommend level 50+ (at least!)

- Buy\aquire Portcrystals and plop them down around the world in various locations and keep ferry stones handy to port quickly to them. Portcrystal locations carry over to subsequent playthroughs.

- Best way to earn money\gain levels is to beat the Ur-Dragon over and over again. Bitterblack grinding is also a place to gain levels. The game is replayable big time because everything carries over from game to game. Once it starts getting 'easy' you can switch to hard mode.

I'm officially suffering from Batman fatigue. Shortly into Arkham City it dawned on me that it is almost the exact same game as Origins and Asylum. Those games are great, so as far as quality goes that's not a bad thing, but I feel like I'm replaying a game for the third time now. The dungeons are the same, the controls are the same, the villains are the same. The saving grace for City is that the bosses aren't particularly difficult, so I'm not having to retry the same battles over and over.

Not sure if I'm going to finish it or put it down and come back to it later.

I started playing Birds of Steel but I really struggle with flying with the gamepad. I'm going to order a cheap flight stick before I continue with that one.

I finished Arkham City then went back and finished The Amazing Spider-man. I wish I'd done it the other way around, because the brilliant combat mechanics of the former really make those of the latter pale in comparison. Spider-man was decent, but frequently I felt like I was fighting the controls more than the bad guys.

I ended up getting a Thrustmaster FlightStick on the cheap so I'm getting back to Birds of Steel now.

I'm currently biting through RE6. Leon was okay, Chris horrible, Jake is a little better so far ;)

Totally agree. Overall though RE6 was a disappointment and I feel worse because I spent full price for it.

The worst part in Leons for me was the rope climbing sequence. Frustrating.

Chris Redfields campaign contains just about everything I hate in gaming. If I ever wanted to play a wargame I'd buy one. In fact I think RE6 would be a better game if they'd just patch that whole campaign out of it ;)

Played the first 6 levels of dmc and enjoying it so far. Not sure if the story reboot was really necessary, but Ninja Theory certainly know how to make entertaining games :)

Have you played Heavenly Sword? I though the combat system was kind of clunky but overall a great game. Nice graphics for the time and good story.

I haven't tried DMC yet...I'm one of those who doesn't like the emo look they gave him but I won't let that stop me from playing it someday.

Being a big racing fan, I finally picked up a copy of Test Drive Unlimited 2. It's a gorgeous looking game but the lame characters and plots just turn me off. I have a pet peeve about driving games that try to be about anything other than racing. Just give me a car, a track and some good AI and let me drive.

That is disappointing. The version of TDU that came out for the Vita was dynamite.

I just finished Last of Us (Wow). Now I'm dabbling in Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, which I downloaded as a freebie. I have no clue what I'm doing, so I'm going to go through the training.

Now I'm trying to decide which game in my backlog I want to dive into next. I have Bioshock Infinite, AC 4 Black Flag, Eternal Sonata, and Demon Souls.

Right now the mix of games are:

Dragon's Dogma (going through new game plus+ a time or two)

Skullgirls Encore (Beat all the story modes on normal. May try to increase the difficulty. Won't be paying to get the last DLC character unlocked even if it keeps showing up in arcade mode.)

Persona 4 Arena (longest. story mode. ever.)

Project Diva F (Although playing it on the Vita since my disc is visiting family extendedly.)

I guess I'm getting as much PS3 gaming in as I can before summer really sets in. My place gets way too hot for me to want to risk turning on the modern consoles for fear of melt down :D

I'll probably go Dreamcast or PS2 when the heat hits. I wish my version of the Dreamcast would play Shenmue properly though...

I plan on getting Diva F 2nd when it comes out. Likely similar to what I've done with F. Disc on the ps3, digital on the Vita.

I just downloaded a demo for a game called Defense Technica from the PS Store. Its a tower defense game and reminds me A LOT of the Defense Grid game for the Xbox360. I played for about a half hour and it seems to be very well done. Not sure if I'll buy it but I've enjoyed what I've played so far.

Wolfenstein New Order (Downloaded from PSN, EU version) for the PS3.

er... The in game graphics are ugly. It reminds me of Half-Life on the orange box. You look at a door, it's a flat texture, same for most objects on the walls or on a table.

My version has a glitchy texture looking like TV static that pops up quite often (I wonder if I'll be able to watch an episode of Candle Cove in this static :P )

Cinematics are corrects, but because of this, you really feel the difference between game and cinematic graphics.

Graphics "streaming" in my PSN version is HORRIBLE. Prefer the Blue ray disc !

And... we have sex scenes in the cinematics, Hollywood style. What The *Bleep*

Oh and yes, I forgot, you can play (almost) the original Wolf 3D in the game. Just go to your Berlin Hideout, and go upstairs. You will find a mat with a picture of Wolf3D title screen above. Sleep on the mat, you will play it with new sound and the hands and weapons of Wolf-NO.

Edit :
Finished it today. Overall, I'm disappointed. I'd give it a 6/10.

I wouldn't say I'm 'playing' it, but I've been sitting here 'patching' GT6 for quite some time. I'm about to just give up and go for a freaking drive in the rain.

The normal patching is finally done (that was about 2.5gb worth) now it's doing patching from within the game itself. It's telling me "approx 340 minutes remaining." All for that senna content, and mitsubishi's new drivable commercial, neither of which I'm going to give a freaking rip about. It's a fair bet that there isn't a single miata in the new content and that's all I freaking want to do.

I am still playing Final Fantasy X HD. I didn't know this was the international version until I tried to back track to do some stuff before the final show down, and I have those bloody dark Aeons blocking my way at key points. I've given in and using Yojimbo to take care of those. I am not spending endless hours in the Omega ruins.

After this, I don't know. Based on cimerians's comment, I did pick up a physical copy of Dragon's Dogma... or maybe I'll go back to the PC and actually finish Skyrim on a platform for once. Or maybe something out of the rpg genre.

Now playing none on the PS3.

Heat has finally hit for the summer, so leaving the modern consoles off. Given how hot this place gets, I wouldn't be surprised if they overheated on me if I try to use them to any degree.

So at least until it cools down again, I'll probably play more on Steam and the more retro consoles I have.
