Rikkarr
I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles almost non-stop for a while, but I think I'll cool off and play some Oblivion GOTY for a few hours.
Mendon
I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles almost non-stop for a while, but I think I'll cool off and play some Oblivion GOTY for a few hours. Valkyria Chronicles (along with Uncharted 1 & 2, Pixel Junk Monsters/Shooter and Demon Souls) makes owning a PS3 a must. I played the heck out of VC when I first got it, beating the game and then going back in an attempt to turn any C and B grade into an A. I still believe that the hardest mission for me was Chapter 7 (I think that number is correct) with the super tank that requires you to take out its multiple machine guns as it moves to destroy your base camp (Silvaria makes her first appearance in battle in this chapter). I had to attempt this mission multiple, multiple times just to complete it because my damn Lancers couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if they were standing in it..... If you like VC, make sure to pick up the three DLC's as I found then to be great extensions of the original game. I can't recommend VC 2 on the PSP, though, as I was totally turned off by these college kids and their adventure. I did maybe 5 missions, then put it away and haven't touched it since. Impaler_26
Valkyria Chronicles (along with Uncharted 1 & 2, Pixel Junk Monsters/Shooter and Demon Souls) makes owning a PS3 a must. ... Mendon Yep, indeed! I don't own a PS3 but a friend of mine bought one 2 weeks ago and one of the first games he bought was Valkyria Chronicles. We played it until 4 am or so last weekend, it's absolutely awesome!! Also proves that Sega can still make great games. Too bad i won't be able to buy a PS3 any time soon but at least i can play VC at my friend's place and watch the VC Anime.
HammR25
Just got a PS3 last week Have the Move Bundle so playing Sports Champions that came with it and Bought GTA 4 those are it for now and some demos I DLed Gotta get more but not paying 49 or 59 bucks a game Both Ratchet and Clank games are pretty cheap now if you like platformers. Resistance 1 and 2 are pretty cheap now if you like FPS. Uncharted 1 and 2 are pretty cheap now. You do Indiana Jones type things in those, 3rd person shooter type with some puzzle elements. I was playing GT5 until my wheel broke. Now I've got to get it warrantied.

Mendon
I just purchased MAG. if anyone has mag and wants to play with me, then add me. I used to play MAG alot.... made Lvl 48 in Raven before quitting. Just lost interest as the community dropped in size and wait times became 20min or more for a game of Domination or Interdiction. While I usually don't play FPS games online because I can't hit anything and am point fodder for the opposing team, I found in MAG that I could become a contributing team resource by healing, res'ing, and repairing. I'm curious as to how the community is going today, i.e. are a lot of people still playing, are matches quick to find, etc. If you'd make a quick post of your online experiences, I'd appreciate it. Mendon For the 64 player matches, it takes about 40 seconds to start. 128 players, 2 or 3 minutes. I havn't played the bigger games, as I have not leveled high enough. I'm on Raven too. If I never get to play the bigger matches, thats ok for now because I'm having lots of fun with it right now.

Mad Scientist
I just finished my first run-through of Pixeljunk Shooter last night. It will continue to get some play as I work on trophies and full completion. I'm into chapter three of Uncharted 2 I'm not an FPS fan, but it has been fun. I've also enjoyed the demos for Pac-Man CE DX and Space Invaders: Evolved. On deck: Katamari Forever, Toy Story 3, and the new Castlevania game. Despite my efforts to hook her on a game, my wife has been giving the PS3 a good Netflix workout. The kids have just been playing the Wii thus far... they seem to think that the PS3 is synonymous with Netflix. We won Coke's PS3 contest twice (first prize, not grand), so we're awaiting the arrival of the Move cameras and controllers along with Tron and EA Sports Active 2. Cap5750
I just finished chapter 1 in Dead Space which I picked up for under 20 bucks. From what I've seen so far, it's a great game. I even jumped once. I was walking through a door and there was a "dead" body laying there. It didn't move, so I assumed it was completely dead. Just as I took another step forward, it sprang to life and hit me (with a scream that was swimming around me in 5.1 stereo). Note to self: Stomp on head of anything laying on the ground. HammR25
I started playing PixelJunk Shooter again. Earlier I got stuck on one of the ice levels because I didn't know about a specific game mechanic but suddenly figured it out this time. thegamezmaster
None as my ps3 starting to die on me. Seems the gpu needs repaired and needs new motherboards which are impossible to find. Anyone know of any or suggestions? I know this maybe the wrong place to post but I'm getting desperate. Was playing God of War Collection when this started. HammR25
I got the GTA4 complete edition for $20 so I've been playing through that. It's ok. I definitely liked GTA old west a lot better. Oh I mean Red Dead Redemption.
Cybergoth
I recently started playing Uncharted 2, albeit after the first three chapters I'm not overly impressed neither by the story nor the gameplay. Like the first I assume it's an experince that's already forgotten once the credits stopped rolling
