HammR25
Anyone else have this yet? It's definitely been lots of fun so far. I've been playing the single player campaign. The graphics are very excellent and I'm getting used to the control scheme. I haven't found anything super annoying yet that wasn't caused by my unfamiliarity with the game. The only thing I don't really like is the framerate slow down at some of the save points but that's minor.

The deadzone needs major work. Other than that it's really fun!
HammR25
The 1.20 patch seems to have made the controls less sensitive.
Cynn
The 1.20 patch seems to have made the controls less sensitive. Technically they made them more sensitive. It worked for me! I'm happy now.
Mendon
I think Killzone is great... and the patch really helped with the controls. But one thing I didn't like: the offline campaign was too damn short! I love FPS games but I am not, repeat NOT, that good a gamer and wouldn't try the HARD setting on most games because I would get my butt handed to me continuously. Same reasoning applies to online multiplayer.... even 7 year old's own me. But when I can beat the campaign mode of Killzone 2 in under 5 hours, you know that part of the game is short. I know, I know..... most gamers are online players and that's who the developers are making the games for. But there are many gamers out here who, for whatever reason, prefer and enjoy offline game playing rather than online and we are getting short changed more and more, it seems, with each new release. Games like Killzone 2 and Halo 3 make me appreciate games like Fallout and Oblivion even that much more. Artlover
I know, I know..... most gamers are online players and that's who the developers are making the games for. That's debatable. Ok, I can't speak for the PS3, but lets look at the Xbox360 for a minute. http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/microso...ives/161658.asp And these are Microsoft's own numbers mind you.... 28 million units sold, 17 million xbox live accounts, and "just over half of Xbox Live subscribers pay to play". When you crunch the numbers it works out to around only 40% of 360 owners are playing online. Again, I can't speak for the PS3. Maybe it has a higher online gaming presence because their on-line network is still free. All I can say is, that while yes it's true on-line gaming is more popular then it ever has been before, on a whole, it still does not seem to represent a "majority" of gamers yet. +remowilliams
I think Killzone is great... and the patch really helped with the controls. Holy crap, thankfully they fixed the controls - they were just totally f*cked before and really turned me off the game. It is much, much better now. HammR25
I'm getting sick of this game right about now. I'm in the area where you fight the dude that can beam himself to different places. I'm playing on the easiest level and I've probably died 50 times. I finally got past the initial checkpoint on this level yesterday and now I'm on the "boss level" part of it where I go one on one with the dude that disappears and reappears. I assume this is the end of the game since it's so difficult. I'd like to find out it's not though since this means the single player campaign is really freaking short. +remowilliams
This game, while technically great, hasn't clicked with me. I just didn't really care what was going on, and haven't picked it up in a while. Unlike say Resistance 1/2 which I just couldn't put down. HammR25
I finished the game this afternoon and I just put it on eBay. I don't normally sell games but I don't need to play this one again. The story just didn't hold me and the game was way too short. There were also way too many cuss words and I don't do multiplayer. I think they spent too much time making it look awesome which ate up their resources and they didn't have the time to make it long enough.
