rorysl
Hey guys! I only recently discovered the "3-D" NES games Worldrunner, Worldrunner II (J) and Rad Racer... I knew of Rad Racer of course, but didn't know it could be played in 3-D mode. Well I tried them running through an emulator with a pair of old-school 3-d glasses I had lying around (Red + Cyan (Blue)) and they were....ok...not great...but I didn't expect them to be great. I'm wondering if they run better with actual cartridges on an actual NES as opposed to an emulator. I was running them through my modded Xbox to a Sony LCD. Anybody have any experience with these games? Thoughts?
DeadlyDiskKun
Rad Racer looks alright in 3-D on a actual NES but emulation tends to obscure things a bit so it looks kind of crummy.
Video
To my understanding, the Famicom, actually had 3D glasses like the Master system in the us, but as the expansion port was taken off in the US, we instead get the red/blue variant. And yeah, the colors are screwy on computer, especially trying to run 3D, it was a deccent enough effect for the NES though.
rorysl
Cool. Thanks guys. I think I'll pick these up for the NES and check out the real 3-d.
