I'm in the process of downloading it now from the UK store (I'm not a Qore subscriber) and others who have tried the demo have said its pretty good with a lot of promise. I'm curious what any AA members might think. I'll post back my impressions after I've finished downloading it and tried it out. Mendon Posted April 12, 2009 Author Share Posted April 12, 2009 (edited) I got a chance to play around with the demo last night and my impressions: The setting is Mar's and the first thing I noticed was that this is a 3rd person game instead of a 1st person game. The graphic's were not bad at all but yet nothing outstanding. You got the usual variety of weapons... blasters, rifles, etc... but you do swing one MEAN sledgehammer. I had a blast tearing buildings apart and going through walls in order to attack the enemy. AI left a lot to be desired in the demo. The enemy was actually pretty stupid in its attacks and the only real threat they presented was in sheer numbers. Driving vehicles was fun and they can do a LOT of damage. Demo was pretty short, especially once you figured out what was expected of you and where your objective was. Overall, not a bad game at all and I had some fun with it. Register to become a member, leaving your country as the UK and with a valid Email address. Once your registration is complete, click on the "Play Red Faction Now" demo link and you will be given a demo code. Then, using your UK PS3 account, look under Account Administration, enter the code and voila... the Red Faction demo is now available for download. For the NA website, you had to be a Qore subscriber to get the demo. But for the UK users, you just had be registered on the THQ website to be given a code.
