Anyone tried this game out yet?

 

I LOVE Pixel Junk Monsters and have quickly become a tower defense game addict. I didn't buy Savage Moon because it sounded too much like PJM, but when I read about CC and that you went on the offensive in the game, I had to buy it.

 

Graphic's are nothing to write home about but the gameplay more than makes up for it. The fact that you just don't sit there and watch the enemies march to their death after placing your defenses but also have to create your own troops and take out the enemy base adds a very nice twist to the game.

 

The tutorial for the game is well done and as you complete each level, you open up new weapons. Its fun seeing the Leaderboards and how fast others completed a level (you are ranked by how quickly you complete a level along with how many nasties got thru to your base) and I sometimes shake my head wondering how in the world others completed a level so #$%^@ fast.

 

I still think PJM is one of the best games I've played in quite awhile but Comet Crash isn't far behind and adds a fun twist to the genre.

 

Anyone else have thoughts on the game?

PJM is the best game on the PS3 besides some of the retail games.

 

If this game is anywhere close to being as fun as PJM is then Im getting it.
