September would be better for me but i agree with the Pitbull and Tempest you should decided on a date thats good for you buddy. :)

Ok fine. What dates are out again? For me it's August 15th/16, August 29th/30th and probably the first week of September. So that leaves:

July 25th/26th (would need to know ASAP though)

August 1st/2nd

September 12th/13th

September 20th (can't do it on the 19th)

September 26th/27th

What works best?

That's basically what I was thinking. Meet up at Pete's, so the wives can play some pinball and we can play some games and get to know each other a bit. I figure after a couple hours at Pete's those of us that still want to hang for a while can head to Tempest's place.

Can't make it. My birthday is the 13th, and I've got friends coming in from out of town on the 12th for a big party.

My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail... ;) :P

We'll have to do something another time. You're a lot closer to me than most, so it's not a big problem.

The 12th it is! Wow we are actually going to do it this year this will be fun and if anyone has any trade stuffs they want to bring maybe we should throw up a list and that way if anyone is looking for something one of us might have it just a quick thought. :)

Trade stuff is good. I'll have my stuff ready. We can do a mini-swap meet.

I'll bring some stuff too... mostly junk I'm sure nobody wants. :)

Don't count on it, Tempest collects "everyting"! ;)

Well then, I've got some 2600 commons "autographed" by the original owner that I'm sure he'll love! :D

I'll have to dig something up that might actually have some trade value... even if it's not Atari related.

Can I come?

What is 'Petes'?

I saw this post while I was on the road Up North for a camping trip last week. Just got back today and knocked off all of the dirt and grime.

If you want another member, I am pretty sure your date works with my schedule. It would be fun to meet you guys.

I was thinking I could bring some Lynx items. I could bring EOTB for everyone to play (I know you already played it Tempest... but I'm sure others would like to play a little bit). Let me know!

Hi Eric!

I'm assuming they're talking about Pinball Pete's, presumably the one in East Lansing (I don't know if there's another one elsewhere anymore). I only skimmed this thread, having only just now seen it, so forgive me if it's not Pinball Pete's.

I'm also not sure if it's an invitation-only kinda deal, but if any old Michiganite can show up, I'll pencil it in. I'm in Lansing, so East Lansing's in my back yard, practically.

So yeah, if we're both "invited," I look forward to meeting you, Eric, as well as the rest of ya!

Cheers,

Smeg

Invitation only! No squares! Beat it!

Anyone is welcome to come, but I think we're talking about Pinball Pete's in Ann Arbor. I'm willing to drive to either so it makes no difference to me.

So Pete's then my house? Sounds like a plan.

Tempest

After having recently seen the pictures of your place, witnessing it in person would be like going to Atari heaven! :D

As for Pete's... honestly, I haven't been in EL proper in so long I had no idea if it was still even in business. That's good to hear, definitely. I spent a lot of my youth there.

Cheers,

Smeg

Oh, I just read your post, Tempest. I had no idea there was one in Ann Arbor. I'll hafta Mapquest it. I wonder how it compares to EL...

Sweet... I think you can pencil me and my wife in.

She doesn't frown on my hobby, so she is cool about things.

I have no clue why we all haven't met yet. We do live rather close. lol

And I believe I've traded/bought/sold from/with most of you.

Sounds like a fun event! I'll have to dig through my trade stuff.

I do have a around 250 loose 2600 games to unload if anyone wants them for cheap... (you'd save on shipping which is always a good thing!)
