Heaven/TQA
as promissed... a 1st alpha version of Senso on Atari 8bit Computers. Main target is to fit the whole game into 256 bytes... i have coded it straight forward so newbies can use them in conjunction with XASM. http://www.s-direktnet.de/homepages/k_nadj...j/senso256.html i still have to implement the game engine and the correct sound values...but you may know the 7800 version...so you know that sound is not my best field... hve
Thelen
Looking nice, but to put the whole game in 256 bytes I thought the 1024 bytes game contest should be difficult..... Thelen
Heaven/TQA
well... it would be a very hard challenge to squeeze the stuff in 256 bytes... so i have extended my target size to 512 bytes... right now it has ~450 bytes...so still some bytes left... right now it works...with good sound and highscore, etc... check it out... http://www.s-direktnet.de/homepages/k_nadj...j/senso256.html the zip archive now contains senso512 files: senso512.asx the xasm source file senso512.obx the atari exe file senso512.atr the bootable atr image... have fun... as you can see...the 512 byte version is very ugly compared to the nice 7800 version... it still has a bug in the game engine...ignore the very 1st base when you started the game with START... i don't know where & why it is played... hve
