BATTLEZONE 2000 HIDDEN GAME

Why can't I access this thing? I can't seem to get it to come up.

I tried it with a Lynx 2 and a Lynx 1. Nothing.

I hitt Opt 1 three times and then restart (in the tank configuration screen). All it does is place pause on the screen.

 

Any tips?

 

I'm trying to check differences with it and my Battle Zone Proto.

Thus far, the only thing I see different are copyright dates. I can't get the two player to work either.

I remember its difficult to get into the hidden game and neraly impossible if oyu want to do it with multiplayer.

 

But it would be nice if one could write a manual for the hidden game

 

PS: Have you compared the ROM dumps?

It should be easy to see if there are big changes.

Press opt.1 two times, the third time keep it pressed, while pressing pause at the same time for the restart.

Got it! Pushing Opt1 twice, and then hold it on the third time while pressing pause at the same time works much better.

The only real difference on the BZone Proto I can find thus far: Different copyright date on the main screen. It says 93. Yet... the actual release shows 94.

I'll have to figure out a check sum later on.
