There are barely enough score-driven NES games to necessitate having a HSC, nevermind SNES. There are certainly games that "keep score", but the overwhelming majority of SNES games are action/adventure-style games. Since Tempest has made it clear that he doesn't think silly little 14-year-old me could possibly moderate a high score club, you can bet this won't be happening. At least, not for a long time. toptenmaterial Posted June 7, 2011 Share Posted June 7, 2011 You do not need permission to hold your own high score club. You will need approval to get it pinned- but there is not reason you couldn't hold a contest. I held a successful contest in March and am running one right now. The point is that you will achieve legitimacy through participation. Focus on a game- you pick the game- and decide what parameters or challanges you are adding. HSC? Speed run?
