thermactor
Hi, Does anyone know the proper range for the potentiometer in the 7800's paddle controller? I'd like to replace mine with audiophile quality gold potentiometers... Thanks, Wes Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/14737-paddle-controller-potentiometers/ Share on other sites
+Mitch
The 7800 joystick doesn't use pots. Are you thinking of the 2600 paddles? They are 1K ohm. thermactor
Thanks! Yes, I am referring to the 2600 paddles, which I am using with a 7800. It's not my system, but a friend's. We want to rebuild the 4 paddles with audio grade potentiometers, and have a Warlords tournament on a front-projector. My current system that I own is a Coleco, with the super action controllers, steering wheel, ect, and also the Atari expansion module that goes with it. I might evenutally sell it all, but I'm not sure yet - pretty cool stuff Wes Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/14737-paddle-controller-potentiometers/#findComment-147961 Share on other sites
+Mitch
Correction, that should be a 1 meg ohm pot not 1K. Sorry about that. This is not correct .. the 2600 pots are 1 Meg Ohm.
