rpgfaker
I have heard that you can install other operating systems on the PS3 and would like to know which OS work. And whats the benefits?
cimerians
Only Linux (Yellow Dog, Red Hat etc) as far as I know and only on non-slim's. Benefits: Emulators. Although I'm not sure its worth the trouble anymore. I now use my Wii and original Xbox for emulation goodness. I can also hook up my PC to my TV if I want. Also it partitions the disc drive do I save the emulators in the Linux partition, or could you run them off a USB. Which emulators work? rpgfaker
Well I grabbed YDL 6.2 and burned the DVD, found most of the emulators and think I'm ready to give this a go...but then the Fixstars site goes down! I can't do this without some kind of document,
cimerians
Cool...I had YDL as well and I remember running ScummVM. I think there are a lot of emu's that work like SNESExpresss and MAME but I havent tested them. Some people complain its a little complex to map buttons etc. Let us know how well you do!
