Catsmasher Posted October 7, 2009 Share Posted October 7, 2009 Can you guys (or gals) point me toward good sources for tips and strategies to play the classic 80s arcades (asteroids,battlezone, defender,etc)? My 15 year old just beat my high score on asteroids (we have a MAME machine) and has become insufferable. Help a fellow old-school gamer put the little Xbox worshiping punk back in his place! I got my high score back, but I had to do it the old fashioned way by parking in front of the machine with a beer and playing for an hour or so. That's where the fun is. I also drove his high score off the list - take that! I realize now that the classic games are more in line with good old fashioned values. They make you earn the score - no cheats!
