If possible, I'd like a badge as well! :) I'll definitely be there again this year - maybe this year I won't buy anything in a box so big I could sleep in it (I bought the boxed ADAM last year - I tinkered with it and got the cassette drive working, then promptly put it back in the box and haven't played with it since)

Ok, I'm going to be putting together badges for AA members this year again. If you're coming and want a badge, make sure and say so in this thread.

I would love a badge and so would my Girlfriend Ms.Do Not sure how you are going to do them. Our real names are Todd & Kim. Much thanks in advance for making badges.

Jagfest update:

The tour shirts came in on the 16th and they look good(thanks agin to those who requested a shirt as well)

Jagfest issues 1 to 6 will be on display as well, just received the the remain 3 issues(1 2 and 6) a day ago)

and while the anniversary book won't be ready I will have a treat for those who want a taste of it:

free copies of the original final Fest issue (#7) these are in normal print version. I have too many of these and felt this is a

good way to get rid of them and help plug the new book.

I do want clear a thing up mentioned on the jagfest page on MGC site:

the prize for the protector SE contest: is that I will order the Tour shirt(not the Jagfest Shirt these are two different items)

at the show, the shirts I'm selling is not going to be used for prizes. this also allows the winner to pick out their own size instead of just

a Large. and as mentioned the the book won't be at the show, but I will place the winners name on a waiting list and when the book is done

I will order and shipped to winners address.

(we also plan to show some VLM being done either weird al,tempest 2k or defender 2k sound tracks or some other CD)

BTW, if anyone is going to be at the hotel Friday in the late afternoon and wants to help me with unloading, etc. for my area of the museum, it'd be greatly appreciated. Usually just me and the U-haul truck every year.

I'll help. I always love the museum. :)

Tempest

You can count on me too. I should arrive around 4PM on Friday. Looking forward to finally meet you guys (and perhaps keep one-of-a-kind piece of museum souvenir while Marty isn't looking..) :)

Any suggestions for hotels? My brother and I will be staying Saturday night. I'm not too picky, clean and cheap suits me fine. We should arrive late Saturday, depending on traffic through Chicago, hopefully with enough time to catch some of the show on Saturday.

Other commitments & projects are starting to pile up on me this week... I might skip the show again this year even though I'm only like 10 miles away from it (I know, major news announcement, no one cares, just sayin') ;)

Ordered my tickets just now. Will be there at the Benheck booth with video mods for the 2600 and 7800 to sell. I should have a working 5200 prototype there as well. You can bring your Atari by for modding and save on the shipping fees! Also I am going to have lots of wooden guitar hero guitar faceplates and some random junk. Going to be a good time!

So are you going to be doing mods 'while we wait' (so to speak) or is it just a drop off and you'll mod them and send them back after the show? I'm thinking about bringing my 7800 by as the RF on it is terrible.

I would like to announce I will be demoing something incredible with my Tandy Color Computer 3 setup in the museum.

An amazing CoCo programmer has come up with what I think is the most accurate Donkey Kong on any 8-bit computer/system.

Here's a preview:

I wouldn't have believed it was possible myself, if I didn't play it. (And still sucked at it.) :)

No hardware mods to the original CoCo 3. It actually does it.
