Flytrap Released

Hey guys,

 

I just released my game Flytrap on Xbox Live Indie Games. If you have an Xbox 360, I highly recommend that you check it out. I realize that technically I may be posting this in the wrong forum (probably should go in Modern Gaming), but I made this game specifically because I hate the games that are coming out these days. Flytrap was made with the idea of it being as simple as early 80's arcade and Atari games but with today's level of technological and graphical sophistication. The result is one of the most highly playable and addictive games ever made (based on blind playtests). Come check out the gaming world's next big franchise before anybody else even knows what the heck Flytrap is.

 

Description:

A character-based Galaga/Space Invaders type game in which the player controls a venus flytrap who wields a super soaker-like squirt gun. The player shoots enemies (who spawn along the horizon and move towards the player) with the squirt gun to stun them, and then finishes them off by inhaling them in a way similar to Kirby.

 

Where to Download:

1) From the Xbox Dashboard, go up to Game Marketplace, select Explore Game Content

2) Go down to Indie Games, go over to and select Browse

3) Select 'F'

4) Go down and select Flytrap

5) Click Get Trial Game to download the game
