A2600
I have an early SNES poster with PILOTWINGS, FZERO, PLAY ACTION FOOTBALL (coming soon), SIM CITY AND ZELDA III (coming soon) the copyright is 1991 Funny they state it as Zelda III and not A Link To The Past
CGQuarterly
Why not? LTTP was technically Zelda III, after all. Chris
godslabrat
It was referred to as Zelda III before there was a proper title, the same was done in Nintendo Power way back when. Also, SMW was sometimes subtitled Super Mario Bros. 4.
jeremysart
Ultra 64 Star Fox II Super Mario FX I love finding stuff like that in the old gaming magazines. Shame Star Fox II was never released. Nintendo should WiiWare it at least, that game was after all like 95% finished. Of course, it can be played via emulator as the rom image is out there. Now thanks to RetroZones SNES flash cart, it can be played on a real SNES or Yobo's FC GO.

Nope, it requires the use of the Super FX enhancement chip, which the PowerPak doesn't have. Any game that required a special chip beyond the DSP-1 used in some titles like Super Mario Kart and Pilotwings will not work with the PowerPak, including Star Fox 2. But who knows, maybe they will release it on the Virtual Console someday.
rpgfaker
I remember seeing the NES box and Zelda II was only called The Adventures of Link and it did not have a photo of The Legend of Zelda. This always made me wonder if Zelda II was the first game and the Zelda name was added at a later time.
