8th lutz
I looked under my profile and I noticed under interests that it had video games, playing miniature golf,Watching football, listening to classic rock & amp, cooking, watching movies instead of video games, playing miniature golf,Watching football, listening to classic rock & country, cooking, watching movies. Amp isn't one of my interests since I don't drink energy drinks because of the type health issues run in my family history. When I pressed the change about me page button, I noticed the interest part of it already had country, not amp. After I pressed the edit button, my interests had country, not amp again. That means I never typed in amp a first place. Although I pressed the save changes button and got all my interest correctly again, it concerns me because I didn't give out my password out to anyone. That problem might have been there for a while since I don't look at my profile a lot. What caused my profile to have "amp" in my interests despite me not typing it in since I didn't give out my password out to anyone? Albert
It's possible an ampersand got improperly converted to "& amp" at some point, perhaps by forum conversion software (since we've run a few different versions of forum software over the years). "&" is HTML for the ampersand character. I find it pretty unlikely that someone logged in as you and modified your interests in your profile. I can look to make sure it wasn't done by a moderator. Passwords are stored in the database encrypted, so the only way someone would be able to login as you would be if they guessed your password since you haven't given it out. It would not hurt to change your password, nonetheless. ..Al
