On the second run I had nothing else left to blast with 4 mins remaining so I just went through the portal for the remaining points. This was on the first world on a 15 min timer set on my mobile phone. ALIEN VS PREDATOR - 50,000 Playing as the Predator and going through no airlocks. 15 mins of play. I was wandering round with 4 mins remaining after killing all the Marines on the Predator Ship and having covered the whole map. I can't see how you can score any higher than 50,000 unless you go though an airlock door to kill more Marines. Should I change the rules to let people access the air lock in AvP? Should we also change the rules in Cybermorph to allow people to play the 2nd planet? I guess so eh. I'll go ahead and do that. Let me know how you feel about the new rules guys. I think it will work better with the changes I've made, so a bunch of people don't end up with the same scores. And thanks for playing! Hyper_Eye Posted January 3, 2010 Share Posted January 3, 2010 You have to be visible to increase your score. The whole idea of the predator is that you have to score honorable kills to gain access to more weapons. In order to get an honorable kill you have to be visible. If you kill while invisible your score will actually be reduced and you can lose weapons you have gained access to. This is the way I remember it anyway. But it's good we found out the original way wouldn't really work as many people would likely end up with the same scores, on AvP especially. Also it's a good thing the competitions are only 15 minutes so i didn't waste TOO much of your time! Hopefully these new rules will work to where you are still frantically playing when the 15 minutes runs out, as opposed to finishing and having time left, that's no good! Not that I am trying to say Cybermorph isn't any good. I like it a lot and when I first got my Jag way way way back in the day I was on a Cybermorph craze. I played Codex first and stupidly I left 1 pod and many structures and enemies when I finished the level as I thought I would need all of the rest of the time for Otto Bahn. Well for almost the last 10 minutes I was just flying around trying to shoot the last remaining enemies. Anyway. I guess I SHOULD change the rules AGAIN LOL but I dunno... Heck I might have been able to finish 5+ worlds in 15 minutes... We'll just keep the rules because my score is quite different from Reg's outstanding score. What do you say? I think we are safe on AvP now that we can access the airlock as if I remember there are tons of Marines to kill on that sub level for the Predator. Today I played the first and second game as the predator and it rocks. I didnt run out of time but i did cause I was just running around killing what ever I could find.
