What have you actually PLAYED tracker for 2010 (Season 3)

Another Intellivision night for me...

AD&D Cloudy Mountain - 15 minutes

I played on level 1 and purposefully went through the gray caves to get as many arrows as possible. Even though this level is extremely easy, I managed to lose a life because I forgot that the blob kills you (I thought he was harmless). I also missed an enemy and shot myself from a richochet off a wall.

Thunder Castle - 17 minutes

I made it to the second screen again. Two wizards are after you instead of one dragon. I defeated one of the wizards twice which turned him from green to yellow the first time and from yellow to red the second time. I was hoping to get him one more time since that's how I got to the second screen (by defeating the dragon 3 times). I was then hoping that I could work against the remaining one wizard. However, it didn't work out that way since they continually trapped me between the two of them. Very fun game and I'll say again that the castles in the first level look like they have the atari age symbol on them :)

Q*bert - 6 minutes

My 4 year old wanted to play this one. He spent most of our 6 minutes jumping off the back of the cubes and laughing.

Snafu - 12 minutes

I taught him (see above) how to play this game. I didn't realize it was essentially a 4 player game of Surround. Great to play with kids because it's easy to learn and you can continue playing the round after they lose. I'm going to read through the instructions next time. I'm planning on playing this one some more.

Major League Baseball - 10 minutes

I used to love this game as a kid. I was a big Reds fan and my best friend was a big Cubs fan so it seemed like Mattel made this game for us! We played nearly every day one summer. However, it's only a two player game and my competition tonight was my little boy. He got the hang of hitting (fast balls only) and running (as long as I reminded him to run and let him go back to the base on overruns). He could pitch but fielding was a little more difficult. We only played a few innings. Interestingly, he did hit a legit 3 run homerun (and was really pumped up about it).

Intellivision:

World Championship Baseball - 62 minutes

I used to love MLB Baseball as a kid. World Championship Baseball is an updated version that allows you to play against the computer (or lets the computer play against the computer for that matter). There are other new features such as fly balls, overrunning first base, slides, a slightly larger field (that somewhat scrolls), etc. I played the computer on skill level 3 and beat him 12-3 so I played on the hardest level and won 2-1. I really enjoy the defensive control that Intellivision baseball offers that is unlike any other baseball game I've played.
