Just restricting myself to the NES for now: Adventures of Dino Riki - Stage 1: Hebereke aka Ufouria - Main theme: Marble Madness - Level 1: Marble Madness - Level 2: Metroid - Kraid/Brinstar: Monster Party - Level 1, second half ("World Of Horror"): Xexyz - Area Music (Outside): Xexyz - Area Music (Flying): Xexyz - Area Music (Aboard Vehicle): I think Xexyz in particular is unjustly overlooked, both as a game and for the unusually high quality of its music.
