jetset
Ok, I have a Dreamcast that I want to burn some emulators for. I'm a complete retard when it comes to this kind of thing, and haven't had any luck doing it myself, so I'm thinking maybe someone out there might be kind enough to burn me a few? I'd be willing to compensate for time, discs, shipping, etc.....
liquid_sky
well, what all do you want/need?
jetset
Well, definetly the Atari systems (2600/5200/7800). I'd also die for MAME, and Nes/Snes. Yeah, I know....Im pushy. I have all the roms for those systems (on emulators on my computer). I was hoping it was as simple as downloading ONE program, and placing the roms in the appropriate directory, but I guess it's a lot different that on the pc. liquid_sky
the mame dosent work that well.. its not compatible with alot of games... and the snes emu is still quite slow. The NES emulator is no prob, ive got about 800 roms or so for it.. last time I tried to burn DCstella i burned garbage.. ill have to try it again and see if i can get it working..but the NES emulator i can 100% hook you up with.. i can make it over 2 cds a loader and a rom cd and put all the roms i have in but keep it as a multisession cd so if you hace any roms i don t you can just burn them in

Xot
theres an atari 8bit computer emu that i think also runs 5200 but i havent tried it yet.. no 7800 emus that i know of.. The A800 one does run 5200 cartridges, and it's very good. Although I had problems getting a second controller recognized. As far as I can tell it's more or less perfect. Which is great for playing unreleased games like Super Pac, Jr. Pac, and Millipede.
jetset
So Xot, is it as simple as burning the A800 program to a disc and popping it into the Dreamcast???
CPUWIZ
I haven't messed around with DC emulators but I know that this site had good info about burning discs. www.dcemulation.com
