slainempire
I have been a guitar player for many years(17 to be exact) I commonly use shielding tape or shielding paint to line the cavaties and pickguard of electric guitars to prevent interference and hum from coming from or into the guitar. Would lining the inside of old consoles help reduce audio and video noise?
Jimmy Yakapucci
I would assume that it would depend on whether the noise was coming from inside or outside of the unit. JY

tz101
Would probably help, but maybe redundant because most consoles already have RF shielding installed from the factory.
