ClassicGMR
It looks cool and if I didn't know better I would buy every game available in XBLA. It's not worth it for me though. Almost all of us here either have the systems connected and/or have the entire libraries emulated. That said I think this will do well overall as most people in the U.S. are NOT collectors and the nostalgia factor will weigh heavily to most people. The rest will want to see what the excitement is about and... heck... $3 a game will seem cheap to them. It actually is cheap but not to someone that has them all already. IntellivisionDude
The main question for me would be about the controls. Can they incorporate the complicated controls on the Intellivision into an Xbox controller. They tried their best with the Intellivision Lives collection but it just didn't work too well. And would they have games not already in the Lives collection.
brojamfootball
I still am surprised that modern game systems don't have a track ball peripheral. Besides being utilized for retro games, they could be used as an excellent substitute for a light gun(without the annoying flashing screen or hangups with gun-shaped peripherals a la Columbine), menu navigation as well as web browsing. As many PC gamers know, first person shooters are also excellent with a mouse/track ball. I know modern game publishers and peripheral manufacturers are shy about wacky add-ons with limited application, but it seems the track ball would have more universal usability than a light gun that can only be used for a few games and nothing else. I have a USB track ball mouse and the PC Atari 80 Classics compilation, and couldn't be happier. Perfectly emulated Crystal Castles, Missile Command and Centipede with a track ball? Sweet bliss! Works pretty well for Tempest, too. I don't have much reason to use my gargantuan 5200 for Centipede or Missile Command anymore. The PC version of House of the Dead is also fantastic.
