CGQuarterly
A question that has come up a couple of times here on AA is whether or not you can use a replacement CX-40 PCB from Best Electronics in a CX-10 (the "heavy-sixer joystick). I had a CX-10 that wasn't working properly, so I thought I would give it a try. IT worked, so I typed up the results and posted an article on Classic Gaming Quarterly. http://www.cgquarterly.com/articles/cx10.htm Thanks for reading, Chris

I used a hobby saw to cut the corner off of the circuit board and then used a dremel to shave down some of the white plastic tab board so it could sit on the connectors properly. Good job though, I think that next time I come across a CX-10 I'll do it your way.
Almost Rice
Do the CX-10 use domes? I believe my set used rectangular switches with a crease down the middle length of the metal.
CGQuarterly
Yup, domes. The PCB on the right side of the first pic in the article is the original board. That being said, it is certainly possible that there were different versions used so your memory may be correct.
