it's a great game. it's genuinely creepy, the shoot outs are intense, it looks like a warzone with glass shattering, smoke filling the air, plaster being shot off walls, etc. the enemies aren't cannon fodder either, they'll flank you, dive for cover and come bursting through walls. it's a definite favorite of mine.

I have the first one on the 360 and I enjoyed it very much. I've seen people complain that all the enemies look alike and listed it as a problem with the game. I never had an issue with that. These people are part of an organization. They have uniforms. It seems rather natural they would look alike. (Think Cobra soldiers in GI Joe) They are indeed much smarter than Cobra though!!

I do recall reading reviews that the PS3 version suffered from crappy long load times not present in the 360 version. Every now and again you here about that, I think other than that it's the same game. I recommend the first one highly if you enjoy FPSs. You might also consider getting The Darkness, in my opinion another great, great FPSs.

I second The Darkness too! I also have that for my 360 and found it to be another game the was very fun and terribly under rated.
