This is possible, but it's a bad behaviour anyways, as there is no reliable way to detect MyDOS format. I mean, the $03 for ED is understandable, because there is more than 1 VTOC sector, but the data links are as if it was single density anyways, i.e. they contain file number, as in DOS 2.0 format (6 bits file number, 10 bits link to a next sector, 8 bits sector fill). It would be better for DOS II+ to choose another magic number for that format (if it isn't a bug, that is).

Not necessary. I just finished the game a few seconds ago. So it is possible to get to the final screen without a cheat (guess MaPa didn't cheat as well).

 

Just give it another try! BTW, time running up so fast is part of the fun.

First let me congratulate Fandal on a really superb game , amazing title screen, fonts, and more improtantly a puzzle game that's actually good fun to play Agreed the diamonds would be nicer if they stood out more. I'm up to level 15.

 

I had a look at some of the other games on the disk, was just like the old days of getting the monthly Page6 mag disk, the poker one looked kind of intriguing

 

Re the time limit - some players who are not so quick on the controls/thinking(!) would just like to play the game without running out of time, this and the 'pressure' makes the game not much fun for them. I think you would appeal to more people to have an option for unlimited time. But for me, I like the time pressure

Contratulations - I must say this is by far one of best game intro screens on A8 I have ever seen!

Hires plus (cool) colors - I love it!

 

.... If only the water effect was done was hires too / shift chars by 1 bit in 2nd charset and use D409 - aaaaargh why do I always have such ideas and no time to do it

If you are pleased that this page again, you read, please thank the PéGému. For it was he who made me, after reading the last scrap warned that would no longer be appropriate to disclose Diamondz cheats in the game that we were committed last spring. Well, because sometimes a year ago I launched another gamesku Milk Nuts, in which I have also allowed some of those cheats mounting, I decided to write on this subject the right článeček. Loving this game :D up to level 18 so far on a standard PAL 800XL. The only feature missing for me is a self-destruct for those times I've messed up a level and it's now impossible to finish but I have to wait for the time to run out.
