homerwannabee
OK, new record score of 2,781,100. Glad to break the record during the tournament week! Congrats guy! I've been cross-posting your progress over at ClassicArcadeGaming.com and the folks over there are totally impressed. How about a screen shot? Sorry machine has been turned off. I did make 2 copies of this game one for myself, and one for Twin Galaxies. I might take a picture of the computer screen though.

VectorGamer
Just an FYI folks that I will be travelling to Funspot on Thursday so I don't anticipate updating this thread until Thursday evening at the earliest and possibly not until Saturday morning at the latest. Speaking of Funspot, I might have the shortest lived record in the history of Twin Galaxies. I have been reading the forum that you mentioned me in, and I see that some guy named Steve Wagner can get about 2 million on the machine, and seems to be going for the record at Funspot as well. I sent it out on Saturday, but because today is a holiday it probably is still sitting at my local post office. And may not get there until Wednesday or Thursday. And heck if the guy I am sending it to happens to be going to Funspot as well, than I may actually never officially have this record. Now wouldn't that be a bummer? Edit: Just looked, and apparently the dude is going to Funspot.

VectorGamer
It was brought to my attention that the "Turtle Stair Hop" trick was used in mightymage's Super Mario score. The HSC rules state not to exploit bugs/glitches in games so therefore mightymage's Super Mario score has been removed. Additionally, I pasted notes from Twin Galaxies regarding what is and is not permitted for this game. Also, please make sure you are on the right dip switch settings. This game is set to use the hardest settings possible to speed up game play. Call them "Tournament Settings." Hmmm...the tourney ends Wednesday at 5AM EDT and I will still be in town so it will be updated...I guess I was thinking it ended Thursday evening at 5PM for some reason. VectorGamer
And with that, there's really only one more night to get those scores bumped up and if you haven't submitted any make sure you get them posted by 5AM EDT tomorrow morning!
homerwannabee
I increased my score yet again. 2,868,900 I think I might hold onto this one until after the Funspot tournament is over with. Most refs are going to be at the tournament anyways. Though to be honest I probably can do better, I threw away at least 5 men during this game. 3 Million definitely is possible. This time it took about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
