GCC for the TI
Hey everybody, I've been lurking here for a while, and thought this group might be interested in a port I've made of GCC and the GNU Binutils tools (gas, ar, ln, etc.). I've done some testing with simple programs, and things seem stable enough for other people to play with the compiler if they're interested. Since my development machine runs Linux, it seems like the best way to distribute the required patches is via source. I can provide the binaries, but since it seems like everybody here run
gcc is known to create code that can run on the Tomy Tutor (TMS9995) and I've used it to create a Hello World on the Myarc Geneve 9640 MDOS ( also TMS9995 )
There is no crt.o exactly... As the operating system on the 4A doesn't really have a TTY/keyboard abstraction that anyone uses...
