4 Port switchbox repair

I got this switchbox from a friend, He fried it by plugging in an incorrect power supply.

I am going to try to fix it, as I need a switchbox.

 

Does anyone know which part this is that is burned up?

It's a 3906 transistor.

Okay, that narrows it down, there is 2 different kinds of 3906 transistors.

I have no clue which is which, so I need just a bit more advice on this.

By the way, in case you didn't know. AtariAge has Atari 5200 schematics including the 4 port switch box.

It would help if I could decipher it!

(I'm a hands-on kinda electrical guy)
