Dino
We're on the third board revision. I've upgraded to a 25% faster MCU with twice the storage, improved the backup boot system, and now have dual-footprint for the regular SD card slot or an optional microSD slot (microSD is also for future-proofing in case the supply of SD slots goes dry.) Still working on firmware. When we have a demo or screenshots, we'll post them. Batari, you had mentioned a concern about cost at the start of this project. Do you have a feel at this stage whether this project will be viable economically?
PacManPlus
I think I might be picking up a few of these

Do you have a feel at this stage whether this project will be viable economically? I don't think that costs will be a particular issue. However, I am going to approach the production differently. With the original Harmony, I had a large number of them partially assembled, which required a big capital investment, which I can no longer afford to make. With H2, I will produce them in small runs. The capital investment will be smaller and payback quicker, and interim profits will be reinvested into future runs as demand allows. Dr Manhattan
Please add me to the long list of people interested in this product. I was going to buy the original Harmony Cart but I think I will wait for this product instead.

Lastcallhall
Just found this thread. The 7800 is the one system I've always wanted, and this cart could be the catalyst for me to pick one up. I'm good to go for a preorder as soon as one comes up, as well.

godzillajoe
I didn't read the entire thread but is there a target date you're shooting for or is it just "it's done when it's done"
slackerwithin
I am very interested in this as well. I will be buying on when they become available. I don't post much, but read these posts all the time. I own a harmony cart and homebrew carts. I would love to have this. Would it play all 7800 games? Thanks so much. Metal Ghost
With a thread up here about CC2, I just thought I'd bump this up in case there was any news to report *keeping fingers crossed*

Machine
I'm really glad your working on this. I love my Harmony and can't wait to get an H2. I just want to say how much we all love the Harmony cart in our house and we can't wait for the H2. I got my cart loaded up and a nice menu sheet printed out so I can find games easily and quickly. I was very happy when my 7 year old son asked to have an old 13inche TV be put into his room so he could play Atari. My heart filled with pride. We dont let him have a TV in his room because we have a family room and rec-room for that stuff, but I was so happy that he wanted to play Atari, I hooked him up with the TV and an Atari Jr. He had his friend over yesterday and they spent an hour playing Atari. Nothing like seeing a new Atari lover being born. I am just glad I was smart enough to buy two Harmony carts because there is no way I am ever giving up mine! lapetino
This is excellent! Just found out about it today, but now that I'm a 7800 owner, this is awesome! Can't wait to pre-order!

psquare75
Maybe he owns a CC2 and wants to sell?
Madaracs
Because this thread is stupid old and as we gain more fans everyone wants one of these things... and as far as I can tell there hasn't been time for anyone to work on the project so it seems like it will never happen. Not saying it won't... just that it seems that way.
Metal Ghost
I don't know....it was started in July of last year. That's really pretty new, in my opinion at least.
lapetino
I don't know....it was started in July of last year. That's really pretty new, in my opinion at least. That's what I was thinking -- in comparison to some other projects on this site, it's a pretty short timeline.
