Somebody clearly spiked that one. Look at the zero feedback of the winner, who paid an EXORBITANT Buy It Now! price. I doubt that transaction will ever be completed. Tough luck for the seller. :(

Why, that is an average price of $10.00,- per game, just imagine how much money the guy selling it lost !

Well I never said the seller didn't get shafted, but that's only because that zero bidder will never pay. It's not a good deal though. It's well known that PS games depreciate in value unless they're really rare or extremely sought after (Namco Volumes 4 + 5, Xenogears, FF Anthology, Intelligent Qube, et cetera). If you paid $50 for it new, your odds of getting that much of it back re-selling it used are 1 in 100. Furthermore, this guy didn't even keep the original gem cases with tray inserts; he discarded them and only kept the discs and the instructions. That depreciates the value of what he's got even further, because some PS games had beautiful artwork underneath clear plastic trays, or interesting game descriptions on the back side. The bottom line is that the PS is the next Atari 2600. I see a lot of pawns still trying to sell ridiculously overpriced common PS games for $15-$20 each (sports games, Crash Bandicoot games, et cetera) and they just keep piling up. At some point the saturation level is going to drive these down to $1 apiece; and in some places you can already find PS games at NES common prices ($2-$3).

You mean that Namco museum 4 and 5 are rare? I had an easy time getting them. Number 2 was the holy grail for me. I found it when I was on vacation and was visiting a mall and decided to take a look just in case.

Now I have all 5 Namco museums.

There are 6 ! ;)

Since the PSOne is still very popular and games are still being made for it (and games are compatible with PS2), I doubt it can be called "The Next 2600". When Sony recently released their "portable" PSOne with LCD screen, it shows how strong the market still really is for this system, especially with the price of the PS2 still sitting at $200 and games for it are $40-$70.

I'm not saying some of the games aren't old, outdated, have flooded the auction scene, and can be picked up for less than $5.00. But 50% of the PSOne games still run $10-$20, and about 25% of them are still over $25!

I'd have to say if you're looking for "The Next 2600", it would be the SNES (and even the N64).
