Pac-Man Vs Puck-Man
I can't find tools to make Griffey The Dog for the Atari 5200. Can you help me? I need a tool that just edits graphics and be compatable with the Atari 400/800/1200/XL/XE/5200. (My best suggestion is to find something that works with colors. You can try finding one, but you don't have to.) Edited October 3, 2010 by Pac-Man Vs Puck-Man

jwierer
Can somebody reply? http://code.google.c.../tile-molester/ -Jeff It doesn't work!!! I think it's better stated, "It doesn't work for you". Perhaps if you could be a bit more articulate in describing your issue, somebody would be so kind as to assist you. -Jeff

wvoutlaw2k
I used Dan Boris' ShowGFX/EditGFX tools and Microsoft Notepad to edit the graphics in my 5200 version of Asteroids VE (Vector Edition). Maybe that will work for you as well.

slampam
I just popped the 16k Moon Patrol in a hex editor with a starting point at 0000. (not the normal 8000) This is the buggy graphics. Wheel gfx are from 13A1-13CE. Purple buggy gfx are from 13D8-13E3. Black upper body buggy gfx are from 13E5-13ED. It appears the black PMGs are Double wide and Purple PMGs are Quad wide. It would require reprogramming and that's why it hasn't been done.
+darryl1970
None of these editors seem to be available or accessible to somebody in the US. RD's x86 tools looks promising, but the download link isn't available in the US!

+darryl1970
I cannot get the right settings in Tile Molester. I am trying to hack the Mario Bros XE graphics. I am not sure if settings vary by game I would like to look at others too. Likewise, I couldn't get the Atari tool to work with an existing ROM. Any help?
