On the Arcade front, we have quite a few new games I have brought in, Starting with Sexy Pachinko reaction 2, complete with it's ball launching control panel. A replacement for the Hyper bishi bashi champ game, I present Pasha Pasha 2 from korea, Followed by one of my Fav's , the ever weird one, Wacko. I then brought to the Arcade a very rare Capcom title - Techromancer, and an even

rarer title Osman. To top off this series of posts, I present 2 more games that I just got and in the process of restoring, the ever popular Midway Tapper and an Atari Cockpit Star Wars.

Enjoy.

Ok here are some more consoles that just arrived, I would write more about these but the reality is they are just variants of pongs, just getting them for completeness more than anything else. They are the Atari C-380 - yeah I know I already have it but it is the brown variant, I know, sort of ridiculous, but I did not catch it and hey at least now we have both. Followed by the Magnavox Odyssey 300, The APF TV Fun 405A, & the Wonder Wizard, here are the pics, enjoy.

New system arrived today, The Treamcast, even though it is a clone system, it is one of those I have been looking for quite a while, Got it for $380 including shipping on ebay, It arrived with a few issues since I purchased it non working, First off The Power supply had a cold solder joint took me around 20 minutes to figure out, since I had taken apart the entire power assembly looking for a damaged component, when I put it back together it still failed but I had pushed against the rear of the internal power connector and just happened to catch it turn on for a brief sec, that led me to pinpoint the cold solder joint, it also had a connector issue since the power supply stacks on top of a second pcb, which a little crimping fixed that, also I had to retune the laser, since it was not reading any disks at all, But after an hour of so of tinkering, everything works perfect now, a buddy of mine pointed out that even though the joystick and the carrying case say Treamcast the back of the unit and under the lcd it is actually mis-spelled Treamacast, just throw an extra a in there, love those Chinese. Here are some pics, enjoy. This unit also comes with a built in mp3 player and can play vcd's, not too shabby. It only came with 1 controller and no remote control for the vcd playback, I will have to use the controller, but still pretty neat, and thus another homeless broken system is healed and rescued for posterity.

To the batcave..........

Till next time, stay tuned same bat time, same bat channel.

Was looking for a pretty rare handheld cart system from LSI - 1983 called a digi casse, and found 1 in box none the less, also it came with 3 other lcd games to boot,1982 sky invaders from pop game, 1983 Gakken tom and jerry prank and Bandai's challenge golf, not exactly consoles, or arcade , but I am still happy with the purchase.

Hello everyone, well the holiday season is over and everyone is back to the ole bump and grind, I finally finished restoring the tapper that I had purchased and even added a few extra touches further putting it over the top, additional niceties such as putting corkboard in the cup holders, installing an original Budweiser beer tap handle and then lighting it up for added effect :) , I put black metal angle brackets around the bottom and rear to protect it and make it look more polished. I also just picked up an asteroids which was in amazing shape it even had the original owl eyes coin door, I just finished changed out all the push buttons to leaf switches, and no burn in on this vector, just a beauty. I also got my hands on a space invaders deluxe, I put The tapper and the space invaders in the arcade for now, sort of going back to my classic gaming roots if you know what I mean, oh I almost forgot I also finished restoring that gauntlet above, complete with a shiny new no burn in 19" crt, truly a sight to behold. Check out the pics.

On the console front, It has been a bit slow, just rounding out the collection a bit, I accidentally ordered another digi-casse system, I did not realize I already had this one, oh well another spare. I also just got the original manuals for my sega Teradrive. That's all for now.

Brought in a little something quite old into the arcade, Not sure if it will even get any play, but I don't care, to me it is a true classic and deserves it's time on the gaming floor an original Atari 1978 - 4 Player Football, and I went all out on this one. It has been lovingly restored with new trackballs, new rods and new bearings, the motherboard was repaired and cleaned, the power supply recapped, the big caps on the AC inputs replaced, new power cord and all new illuminated buttons, cones & leds. Heck I even changed the 6 little bulbs that illuminate your plays with soft glow led strips to give you a more even glow, and finally replaced the green gel overlay to give the screen it's green grass look, this one was a true labor of arcade love, If your in Miami come this rarity a try, I will leave it in the arcade for a limited time.

Just finished reading the entire thread. I'm very impressed by all your hard work, it's worth it. I live in Montreal but if I ever come to Florida, I'll remember to go and pay a visit to Arcade Odyssey.

And I'm also incredibly jealous of your console collection. Hope you find your missing systems someday.

Thank you for the kind words Charles, I do hope to find the remaining 3 systems, maybe someday. Also let me know if your ever coming down would love to give you the gamer's tour.

Good day today, got a GD-EMU in today which allows me to put all my dreamcast games on a single sd card and play them on my dreamcast instead of constantly swapping out gd roms all the time. Also got 2 different versions of usb flash drive readers for the 3do, 1 for the fz1 and the other one for the fz10, So I can just plug in a usb flash drive instead of constantly swapping out the cd's and a 2nd GD emu type device but this one uses usb sticks instead of sdcards. Also got a Children's Discovery system an educational console by Mattel from 1981, got a few carts on the way for this one, enjoy the pics.

Well as some of you may remember I was desperately looking for an Olivetti envision, It was 1 of 4 consoles that I was missing from the collection, eventually I did manage to get my hands on 1 but it was broken, a couple of years later I get another Olivetti envision, but this one came with extra parts so I was able to repair the original and now I had 2 units the original 400 and the P75 model, but I was lacking all the software, the remote, etc. Now 6 months later I get an email from a posting that I did in a forum back in 2010 from Holland none the less, and it was someone wanting to sell me a boxed envision with everything that came with it, this even came with a magazine from july 1995 with an article on the Olivetti and a brochure, really a nice complete setup, so now I have 3 complete working units, funny how things show up when you least expect them to. Also I picked up a Commodore 16 which I just added to the collection, And the carts that I mentioned 2 posts ago just showed up for the Mattel computer discovery system, they come with a very nice overlay, unfortunately I only managed to get 1 cart with the overlay the other 2 were loose, here are some pics, enjoy.

Oh I love that! I remember playing that in a pizza joint when I was a younger man. Foxes Den I think it was called... If I find myself in your area I am definitely dropping in!
